Hi!

Mykhailo 'Meesh' Khokhlovych

My name is Mykhailo — and I’m a simultaneous interpreter, native English speaker and language teacher who helps psychologists turn English into a source of strength and pride.

During this modular course we will expand our vocabulary around DSM-5 disorders like anxiety and depression while practising the skills you need to help your clients deal with them — like active listening, validation, grounding and parts work.

Who is this course for?

This course is for psychologists who want to improve their English to:

  • Work with English-speaking clients
  • Take part in conferences
  • Improve their comprehension of professional materials in English
  • Feel better about their English overall

Language Level

Your English must be at least B1+ to get the most benefit out of this course.

If you are not sure what your level is, send me a message and sign up for a free diagnostic interview.

The Modular Approach

Learn the English you need the way you want to.

This is the philosophy behind why I designed this course to be student-centred.

During the first week the group creates their own syllabus by choosing what skills and topics interest them most.

This is your course. So let’s make sure it helps you learn what you need to learn.

And what about grammar?

Will we do grammar?

Absolutely! Because in English, grammar is inseparable from words. It’s everywhere. Everything we say has grammar. But life isn’t organised around it.

So when grammar mistakes happen, we will fix them. And if they happen again, we will fix them again. Carefully. Patiently. In a way that nurtures both your language and your practice.
